IRRI-9 is yet another type of long grain non-basmati rice that is produced in Pakistan. It is mostly grown in Sindh and Punjab regions of Pakistan. These regions have the best climate to grow IRR-9 rice. It has a long and narrow opaque grain that stays in shaped even after it is cooked. Many people prefer the muggy touch this rice has to offer
